Fall Into Reading - Book Character Dress-Up - Literacy Night on November 15th from 5:30 to 7:00PM

       DRESS - UP as your Favorite Book Character and Join Us!
We are so excited to provide a fun night for our families that promotes reading! 
We hope you will join us next THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15th from 5:30PM to 7:00PM. Some of the activities for the evening include: 

Book Bingo

Creation Stations to create cootie catchers, books, and bookmarks

Book Swap: Bring up to 3 used books to swap

Chances to win free books!!

Visit the Oconee County Library Bookmobile and sign up for a library card!

Reader’s Theater Performance by Bobcat Book Club members

Extra promotion of our Read Your Way to the Big Game

Any student who attends Literacy Night will receive a slip for a chance to win an autographed football by Dabo Swinney or a Gamecock Prize Pack!



Title I Parent Meeting to Help Your Students Succeed - Let's have a GAME PLAN!

 Join the Parent "Game Plan" session and earn an extra chance for your child to win a Clemson Football autographed by Dabo Swinney or a Gamecock Prize Pack! 
       Please join us for an informative meeting to support parents in helping your students meet the state standards. Mrs. Corbett will host a parent meeting at our Literacy Night on November 15th from 6:00 to 6:30 PM in Room C103. While your kids participate in Literacy Activities, please join us for a short meeting share some data and strategies on how to help our students be as successful as possible.

South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards for All Grades

Our teachers and students are challenged with meeting the South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards for each grade level. Meeting this standards
indicates that a student is on grade level. As a parent, you are a partner in your child's education. Please use the link below to explore the standards for your child(ren)'s grade level.  Feel free to contact your administrative team or their teacher if you have questions about the standards.

Students will have the following days as school HOLIDAYS this Year: 
  • Sept. 3rd - Labor Day Holiday
  • October 23rd - Teacher In-Service - No school for students
  • November 5th - Teacher In-Service - No school for students
  • November 6th - Election Day
  • November 21 - 23 - Thanksgiving Break
  • December 21 - Jan. 2 - Christmas Break
  •  January 21st - Martin Luther King Day
  •  February 15th - Teacher In-Service Day - No school for students
  • April 15th - 19th - Spring Break
  • May 27th - Memorial Day
