Our Northside family is so blessed to have such wonderful teachers and staff that take car. This week is dedicated to providing a chance to let them know how much we appreciate every member of the Northside family. Every adult at Northside plays an important role impacting the learning at our school. Below are some suggestions from our wonderful PTC team to remember the special people who touch your child's life.
P - Pick a flower and bring it to school. Flowers can be from your yard, the store, or homemade
A - Add a school supply
W -  Write your teacher a note or make them card.
S - Send in your teachers' favorite sweet or salty snack.

PTC will provide a special treat for teachers and staff on Friday!

We can never adequately thank our wonderful PTC team. This group of parents is constantly at work making things better for our students and teachers.
At our final PTC meeting, the accomplishments from this year and the budget were reviewed. It has been a wonderful year and our leadership has make a great impact on our students and teachers.
WE NEED YOU!!! Please reach out and volunteer to be a part of this great group during our next school year. We will continue our wonderful events such as Tailgate Night, Bingo Night as well as build our volunteer and fundraising base. Remember the time you donate is being donated on behalf of your child and other students who benefit from you participation.

Spring Testing - Think Positive!!

posted Jan 11, 2017, 5:35 AM by Jeana Black   [ updated Mar 16, 2018, 7:45 PM by Terri CORBETT ]

After we return from Spring Break, we will enter our testing season. Spring Testing will give our students the opportunity to show how much they have grown academically. We want our students to think of testing as a positive event. Please talk with encouragement to your student about testing. They will have a Spring Goal to meet so  you can help them work toward meeting their goal by telling them to take their time, read every question and answer choice before they choose one, and communicating how important the test is to you so they will take it seriously too. We are proud of our students and we want their tests to show how they are really performing. Please refer to the testing dates below and make sure your student is present for their testing sessions.
